Audible x Godfather


Audible’s original podcast, “The Godfather: A Film We Can’t Refuse” is the essential, official, definitive, all-things GODFATHER podcast with contributions from some of the the original creators and talent as well as film critics and celebs covering over 50 years of the franchise’s history. It’s a really smart, entertaining, and in-depth look at one of the most beloved, awarded, acclaimed, quoted, and studied films of all time.

To celebrate the podcast launch, Audible popped up an eye-catching Audible- and Godfather-branded cannoli cart in high-traffic areas of New York City, including many iconic Godfather filming locations. Additional custom branded elements such as Audible stamped wooden crates, cannoli boxes, aprons, etc. immersed fans in the world of Godfather. Working with famed local Italian pastry shop Ferrara Bakery, Audible created a special cannoli to commemorate the series release.

Fans had the chance to immerse themselves in the authentic snacks and stories, with Audible content as the main course. In collaboration with Civic, I wrote content to market the cannoli cart pop-up event, including:

  • Digital and physical signage

  • Social copy

  • Talking points for cannoli cart brand ambassadors

  • Radio spot scripts

  • Sizzle reel script
